Sinopse:
No hay mucho que destacar del lascivo Ataru Moroboshi, pero su extraordinaria mala suerte sobresale como los cuernos de la cabeza de un alienígena. Cuando la Tierra se ve amenazada por una flota de invasores alienígenas conocidos como los Oni, Ataru es seleccionado para representar a la humanidad en un duelo contra uno de ellos. Para Ataru es un golpe de suerte que el duelo sea en realidad jugar al pilla-pilla y que su oponente sea Lum, hija del líder de los Oni, que antepone su dignidad personal a la victoria, como descubre Ataru al apoderarse de la parte superior del bikini de Lum y, con ella, de la victoria.
